OPPO A83 to launch in the Philippines this January

OPPO is set to officially bring its newest full-screen smartphone dubbed as the A83 in the Philippines this month.

First seen in Facebook groups a few days ago, OPPO’s newest device is a mid-range smartphone bearing 4GB of RAM, a 5.7-inch 18:9 aspect ratio display, and ColorOS skinned over Android Nougat.

We have just received a press invite for an OPPO event set on Friday, January 26, and it teases the arrival of the device as it shows the number 8 and 3 on the phone’s screen. No price or availability details have been mentioned so far, and we’ll keep you glued on updates once we get them.

    The Indian press release for this phone was flat out weird

    > The look of the A83 is inspired by UFOs (UFO Curve Design Philosophy).
    > The streamlined design of the flying saucer is incorporated

    Must be some incredible alien technology if they changed the design and it still managed to look like what’s already out in the market
