OPPO is set to battle other brands in the Philippines this holiday season with the upcoming launch of a new unnamed device.
An Instagram video from one of OPPO’s celebrity ambassadors, Julia Barretto, shows us a glimpse of a huge phone with a design we haven’t seen in the past.

Our friends from NoypiGeeks notes that this may be the OPPO F5, sporting obvious specifications such as a single camera at the back, and a rather tall profile, hinting that this may be a new phone with an 18:9 aspect ratio display since the fingerprint scanner has been moved to the back of the device.
The naming scheme, skipping the number 4, is said to be a practice among the Chinese as the number brings bad luck.
Other specifications from insider sources say that this may include dual front cameras, OPPO’s ColorOS baked right into Google’s Android Nougat, and Dual-SIM connectivity with 4G LTE on board.
OPPO F5 rumored specs:
6-inch 18:9 LTPS IPS display @ 1920 x 1080 px
Dual Selfie Cameras
Single rear camera
4G LTE
Dual SIM
Fingerprint scanner
ColorOS 3.1 (Android 7 Nougat)
Julia Barretto notes that this new device will launch in the country this October. More details on the device as we get it.

Puro Mediatek ang chipset pero ang presyo talo pa ang naka Qualcomm lol.
18:9 sabay 1920 x 1080? Rumor nga talaga.
