OPPO F7 launches in India

OPPO’s latest smartphone, and the successor to the F5, has just launched in India. Meet the F7, powered by the new MediaTek Helio P60 chipset, 4GB/6GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB of storage, and a 3,400mAh battery. It comes with Color OS 5.0 (Android 8.1 Oreo) right out of the box.

It sports a 6.23-inch display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 (19:9 aspect ratio), which means that yes, it does have a notch. 6.23-inches is fairly large, but it keeps the overall footprint down, having a screen-to-body ratio of 88%.

As for cameras, the F7 goes for single camera setups for both the front and rear. At the front is a 25MP shooter with HDR, AI Beauty Technology 2.0, and AR stickers. Like with the F5, it brings face unlock. At the rear is a 16MP f/1.8 camera.

In India, the OPPO F7 is priced at Rs.21,990 (~Php17,700) for the 4GB/64GB version, and Rs.26,990 (~Php21,700) for the 6GB/128GB version. It is available on April 2 via flash sale on FlipKart and offline channels in India.

Local pricing and availability are yet to be announced. Stay tuned for our hands-on, and of course our full review.
