It’s still a MediaTek P60? Just like F7 no improvement? Oppo Find X was large step ahead from it.
“Still a Mediatek p60”? I’m almost sure you’re not aware that it’s pitted against Snapdragon 660, not 636 nor 625. It has 12nm fab, got AI bells n whistles and offered to OEMs waay cheaper. You might say its 3-core G72 GPU ‘aint for gaming’. Well, it can, with better thermal. Not the best, but gaming is not what we mainly do with phones, right? Unless the game is Tesselation-inclined, it can flex its GPU muscle better than anyone. For ALU fillrate, leave that for Snapdragon’s Adrenos.
“Just like F7 no improvement”? Oppo F7’s SoC leaped from F5’s p23 to p60. F9 got improvements elsewhere. They just maintained having the p60. Why? Because it’s already Mediatek’s top-tier for mid-range.
You will hate Mediatek chips if you love flashing custom ROMs. Android updates? Sony and Nokia got Mediateks on some of their devices with timely updates. It just boils down on company’s support on updates.
“Oppo Find X was large step ahead from it” – Well, no sh*t. Find X was never meant to be a midranger, what are you thinking?
To sum it up, you don’t know what you’re talking about. Go away, noob.
