Remember when you had Palm in the 2000s? The brand has now been revived by TCL and a new phone of the same name was introduced.
The Palm is not being advertised as a full-fledged phone, but rather as a companion for your current smartphone despite its seemingly good hardware. It sports a 3.3-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, and a customized version of Android that features apps in Apple watch-like grouped home icons, gesture searches, a ‘Life Mode’ for removing pesky notifications and bringing more important information closer, and quick toggles for faster navigation.
Despite the seemingly small 800mAh battery packed inside, Palm (the company) touts that the Palm (the device) is capable of lasting up to a day on a single use, or up to three days on standby.
The Palm will be available in November in the US as a Verizon-exclusive handset with a US$349 price tag, or roughly Php18,900 when directly converted.
