So far we’ve been seeing Android phones with batteries that max out at around 4,000mAh, but this entry-level smartphone tops it all at a whopping 5,300mAh. Meet the Philips W6618.
The Philips WW618 doesn’t boast much on specs and sports a 5-inch qHD (540 x 960) resolution or 220ppi, 4GB of internal storage with microSD card support, 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, dual-SIM (WCDMA + GSM), and Android 4.2 Jellybean.
However, it’s best feature is the 5,300mAh battery that claims 33 hours of talk-time and 66 days of standby. On the downside the battery is non-removable and the whole device is chunky at 11.6mm thick.
The Philips WW618 is currently available for purchase in China for 1,699 Yuan or around Php12,000.

Wait, dual-SIM WCDMA and GSM? Dunno if I’ve heard of that in a single phone. FWIW, does that mean you can take in anywhere in the world, including the US?

Phillips “Fizz” was my first ever GSM smartphone courtesy of the first ever GSM operator in PH: ISLACOM (which was later aquired by Ayala-led Globe Telecoms). Nice to hear from Phillips again. The design is terrible though and it’s so expensive. Good Luck!
