A teaser image has been posted on the company’s Weibo page and it shows nothing but a big 2 > 5 graphics which translate to 2 is greater than 5. Could it mean that the rumored Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is more advanced than their current top of the line Mi 5?
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 rumored specs:
5.7-inch Quad HD display @ 2560 x 1440 resolution
Snapdragon 820 CPU
Adreno 530 GPU
4GB RAM
32GB/64GB internal storage
23MP rear camera
12MP front camera
3500mAh battery with Quick Charge
To compare it with the Xiaomi Mi 5 which is the company’s flagship phone right now, it has a smaller 5.2-inch display that maxes out at 1920 x 1080 resolution.
It has a Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4GB RAM which is the rumored internals of the Mi Note 2 as well, but the latter has a more capable camera compared to the 16MP rear and 4MP front shooters of the Mi 5.
Battery-wise, the Mi5 tops out at 3000mAh capacity so if the alleged specs prove true, the new phone could be greater in terms of specs alone. Still, we’re waiting on Xiaomi for any official announcements so be sure to check back on this page.
What do you think the statement 2 > 5 means? Wild guesses are welcome!

Novotech is still in business last time i checked last month at gateway. I was asking if they had Meizu and the girl told me all are out of stock lol. Maybe they’re just hoarding them and then will sell at a higher price.
A bit off topic, but is the Philippines cellular market hard to crack? Xiaomi is successful everywhere but here, and can anyone confirm that cellphone retailer Wellcom and Novotech (the local distributor that bought in brands like THL and Meizu) both closed shop already?
Both are still up and running last friday when i passed both shops in sm north.
What do you think the statement 2 > 5 means? I think its obvious that they are implying that Xiaomi Note 2 is greater than the Galaxy Note 5
