Qualcomm reportedly launching new Snapdragon 7 chip on March 17

Chip manufacturer Qualcomm is reportedly launching a new Snapdragon 7 chipset during a product launch to be held on March 17, 2023.

Qualcomm announced the event on its official Weibo account yesterday, with an attached teaser as seen below.

Reports have surfaced saying that the product launch will likely unveil Qualcomm’s new SM7475 chip which has been recently listed on Geekbench.

According to SeekDevice, the chip will most likely be called the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 or Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 and will seem to rival the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in terms of performance.

Aside from the new Snapdragon 7-series launch, Qualcomm recently announced that it would offer the first commercially deployable iSIM or integrated SIM on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform.
