After multiple announcements and rumors about Qualcomm’s latest chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s full specs are now revealed in the Snapdragon Summit.
Qualcomm has created the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset for generative AI specifically. This makes this chipset the most powerful processor in the mobile market.
The Gen 3 is said to be 20% more efficient and 30% faster than the Gen 2 chipset. Built on a 4nm process, it comes with 1 Cortex-X4 prime core running at 3.3 GHz, five performance cores with 3.2 GHz, and 2 efficiency cores with speeds up to 2.3 GHz.
LPDDR5x memory is supported in this chipset with up to 4,800 MHz with up to 24GB. It can also support WiFi-7 that clocks out at 6 GHz.
