The next generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is set to be announced and launched on October 24, and now it has made an appearance on Geekbench along with the Samsung S24+.
The scores on Geekbench revealed a score of 2,233 on single-core and 6,661 on multi-core running on a Samsung Galaxy S24+, codenamed SM-926U.
This gives it roughly a 20% gain on both parameters when compared to the previous generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and slightly on par with the A16 Bionic chip on the iPhone 14 Pro models.
According to the listing, it shows the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with a 1+3+2+2 configuration with one Cortex-X4 core 3.3 GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores at 3.15 GHz, two Cortex-A720 cores at 2.96 GHz, two Cortex-A520 cores running at 2.27 GHz.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is also said to feature the Adreno 750 GPU with a 50% boost in performance over the previous Adreno 740.
