Vivo has launched the V19 Neo in the country, packing a 6.44-inch display, Snapdragon 675 chipset, quad-rear cameras, and a big battery. But there’s another popular smartphone out there that we think can go head-to-head on it in terms of specs, the Realme 6. Find out which device looks better on paper in our specs comparison below.

Summary of advantages
Realme 6:
• 90Hz refresh rate
• Newer and more powerful chipset
• Higher main camera resolution
• Faster charging
• Two memory configurations
• Lower price
Vivo V19 Neo:
• Higher front camera resolution
• Slightly higher battery capacity
• Longer battery life
Display
The display size of the two devices is almost the same. The Realme 6 is just 0.06-inch larger, so we can ignore that part. Both have FHD+ (2400 x 1080) resolutions, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and small hole-punch for the selfie camera.
They differ, however, on the panel used. The Realme 6 has an IPS panel, while the Vivo V19 Neo has a Super AMOLED. Both have their advantages, so we’ll leave it up to the users to decide based on their preference.
Both will be able to provide a good viewing experience. But what will probably nudge you towards the Realme 6 is the 90Hz refresh rate, which can provide you with smoother animations and transitions. It just looks nicer.
Processor
Powering the V19 Neo is an older Snapdragon 675 octa-core CPU with Adreno 612 GPU. Although released in 2018, this mid-range chip still packs a punch. The Realme 6, however, is equipped with a newer MediaTek Helio G90T octa-core CPU with Mali-G76 GPU. We can see the difference in their performance by comparing their benchmark results based on our reviews.
Realme 6 | Vivo V19 Neo | |
---|---|---|
AnTuTu V8 | 290,161 | 233,298 |
Geekbench 5 | 542 (Single-core) | 511 (Single-Core) |
1,708 (Multi-core) | 1,639 (Multi-Core) | |
PCMark | 10,630 (Work 2.0) | 7,277 (Work 2.0) |
3DMark | 2,551 (OpenGL) | 1,270 (OpenGL) |
2,602 (Vulkan) | 1,210 (Vulkan) | |
AndroBench | 521.98 MB/s (Seq. Read) | 506.04 MB/s (Read) |
208.43 MB/s (Seq. Write) | 192.32 MB/s (Write) |
Looking at the results, the Realme 6 scored higher. While you will not notice the difference in performance in ordinary day-to-day tasks, the extra power would benefit you when it comes to heavier applications like games.
Memory
The Vivo V19 is offered in one memory configuration — 8GB + 128GB. The Realme 6, on the other hand, comes in two — 4GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. Both have support for microSD cards with dedicated slots.
In this case, the Realme 6 has the advantage as the extra configurations give users more options depending on their budget.
Cameras
Both devices have quad-rear cameras and a single selfie camera, which makes them versatile shooters, able to adapt in various scenarios. The two almost have the same configuration for the rear cameras, but the Realme 6 has a higher 64MP primary sensor, compared to the V19 Neo’s 48MP.
The V19 Neo, however, has a higher 32MP selfie camera, which is double the resolution on the Realme 6. It would benefit users who want to have very detailed selfie shots.
Take note, however, that these are just numbers and don’t equate to camera quality. But you can check samples in our review by clicking on the links at the start of the article.
Battery
The two devices aim to be reliable daily drivers, thanks to their capable chipsets, versatile cameras, and large memory. It means they have to have reliable batteries as well. Check out the table below to see their capacities and battery performance based on our reviews.
Realme 6 | Vivo V19 Neo | |
---|---|---|
Capacity | 4,300mAh | 4,500mAh |
Fast Charging | 30W | 18W |
Charging Time | ~Less than 1 hour | ~1 hour and 50 minutes |
PC Mark | 10 hours and 9 minutes | 17 hours and 6 minutes |
Video Loop | 18 hours and 52 minutes | 21 hours and 7 minutes |
Looking at the numbers, the V19 Neo has a slightly larger battery capacity but performed way better in the PC Mark battery test and our video loop test, which can be attributed to the power-efficiency of the Snapdragon chips. However, the Realme 6 has a 30W fast charge, capable of replenishing the battery in under an hour, which is really handy.
Price
As for the price, the Vivo V19 Neo is priced at PHP 17,999 for the 8GB + 128GB. The Realme 6, on the other hand, is at a very enticing PHP 11,990 for the 4GB + 128GB, and PHP 13,990 for the 8GB + 128GB. The latter definitely gives more value for the price.
