realme has officially launched in the Philippines its latest smartphone under the C Series, the realme C35. It has a 6.6-inch display, a Unisoc Tiger T616 chipset, triple-rear cameras, and an attractive design. Read our initial thoughts about the device below.
Let’s start on the front. The realme C35 features a 6.6-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution. It has a drop-shaped notch at the top for the 8MP selfie camera. placed just above it in the bezel is the earpiece. The bezels are thin but slightly thicker at the bottom.
On the left, we have the card tray for two nano-sized SIM cards and a dedicated slot for the microSD card. Below it is the volume buttons.
To the left, we have the power/lock button that also works as the device’s fingerprint scanner. The buttons are tactile, soft, and quiet. They’re placed in the middle of the frame so they’re easy to reach.
Down at the bottom, we have the 3.5mm audio jack, microphone, USB-C port, and loudspeaker.
At the back, there’s the protruding camera module that houses the 50MP main, 2MP macro, 2MP depth, and the LED flash.
At this point, you might have already noticed the eye-catching design of the realme C35. The frame has flat edges and a metallic paint job that reminds us of the newer iPhone models.
The glass-like back also gives off a premium vibe as well as its Glowing Green light effects and colorway. It’s prone to smudges and fingerprints, though, so make sure to use a case.
Powering the realme C35 is a Unisoc Tiger T616 chipset with an octa-core processor clocked at a maximum of 2.0GHz, a Mali-G57 GPU, up to 6GB RAM, and up to 128GB UFS 2.2. For the software, it runs on realme UI R Edition based on Android 11. And for the battery, has a 5,000mAh capacity with support for 18W fast charging.
The realme C35 is priced at PHP 8,499 for the 4GB + 64GB, and PHP 9,499 for the 4GB + 128GB. Stay tuned for our full review.

They should have made the 6gb variant available, also that water drop notch is an eyesore. Sayang yung ganda ng design (flat sides).
