James says:
When will it come to the Phillippines
Wolf says:
More expensive than Realme X and lacks OIS and IR blaster. Super disappointing… base version would probably costs around PHP 19,990 locally since the Redmi Note 7 base version only costs CNY 999 (~PHP 7,560) but retails for PHP 9,990 here.
LINTECH PH says:
Redmi Note7 is only 7,990 :) dont buy from Lazada or Shopee, those are mostly RESELLERs who are TAKING ADVANTAGE of consumers.
Wait for the REALME X and K20 pro to “officially” arrive in the Philippines. Avoid buying from those OVERPRICED online resellers. They over charge you and the unit that you get will not come with official warranty. :)
Johnny says:
Actually the Redmi note 7 base is 7999 not 9990. Try looking at the official stores rather than other reselling outlets
Martin says:
Lmao IR Blasters. Just get a damn remote.
Yoshi says:
what’s IR blaster? and when will this phone be available here in the Philippines?
RenTen says:
Infrared blaster, basically you can control most appliances (tv, aircon, stereo system, tv box, etc) that support a remote control just by pointing at that device and using the built in Xiaomi remote app. The Xiaomi remote app has a wide variety of device and brand presets (heck, they even have brands that I haven’t seen before) so you won’t have much trouble accessing the end device.
I honestly think that it’s a deal breaker and personally find it even more important than the headphone jack (but that’s because I have wireless headphones) as it’s very fast, convenient and it doesn’t need a wifi connection from both devices or a bluetooth connection (of which you’ll need one of those two types of connection if you ever decided to download and use an external remote app). You just simply point and access the device.

+1
Jhonny says:
It doesnt have ir blaster as well as microsd slot for both models
Renan says:
But it doesn’t have IR Blaster not MicroSD slot according to other websites, which is very unfortunate cause both are dealbreaker for me.
