Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite Hands-On

Samsung brought in one of its latest devices, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite, in the Philippines. Considered as a budget version of the brand’s flagship Note 10 series, the Note 10 Lite shares a couple of aspects with the standard model, such as its screen size and triple rear cameras. Check it out!

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite is available in three colors, Aura Red, Aura Glow, and Aura Black. Out of the three colorways, the Aura Glow is the most eye-catching one, with rainbow-colored streaks appearing on the surface of the device when it catches the light. No matter which color you choose though, all of them are fingerprint magnets, and it’d be better to have the handset housed inside a case. The device is constructed with glasstic, along with a metal frame holding it all together; it feels quite premium and robust when held.

Upfront, we get a sizeable 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, with an FHD+ resolution. Samsung equipped the Note 10 Lite with an Infinity-O panel, meaning that it has a 32MP hole-punch front camera, situated at the top-center of the display. The handset also has pretty slim bezels all over.

Located on the rear are the Galaxy Note 10 Lite’s camera, residing inside a square-shaped module. The Note 10 Lite offers a 12MP dual-pixel main, 12MP ultra-wide, and a 12MP telephoto camera setup. The LED flash is inside the module as well.

On the right, we get the volume rocker and the power button. Individuals with small hands might find it difficult to reach the buttons one-handed, given the massive size of the smartphone. The buttons are clicky and tactile, though.

Situated on the left is the hybrid dual SIM tray.

The Note 10 Lite’s top part is pretty bare, apart from a microphone.

The bottom of the device seems to be its busiest part, as it houses the 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, noise-canceling microphone, single downward-firing speaker, and the slot for the S-Pen.

The Bluetooth-enabled S-Pen is easy to take in and out of the device. Pushing the flat bottom of the S-Pen will pop it off its holder, and pushing it back will secure it in its place. The S-Pen can also be used as a remote.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite comes equipped with an Exynos 9810 processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD. Other features include an on-screen fingerprint sensor, Dolby Atmos, Super Steady Video Mode, AR doodles, and has a 4,500mAh battery with fast-charging support. The Note 10 Lite also runs on Samsung One UI 2.0, based on Android 10.

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite retails for PHP 29,990 and will be available in stores nationwide beginning February 14.
