Last week, we showed you some leaked images of the Galaxy Premier along with its alleged specs. Apparently, the rumors were real as Samsung has just recently announced the slightly smaller version of the Galaxy S3.
The rumor mongers were dead on as far as the specs of this phone is concerned. Besides the camera and the processor, the Galaxy Premier’s configuration bears striking resemblance to that of the Galaxy Nexus i9250’s. Heck, even the model number of both devices is almost similar to each other. It’s like a slightly updated GNex with an S3 body and TouchWiz UI.

James J. says:
waiting on the nexus 4. word on the interwebs is that it costs around 299 dollars unlocked! that’s pretty cheap, considering that it’s a reference device, just not sure how much it’ll cost in the Philippines though.
James J. says:
that’s still a steal considering that other phones that have the Snapdragon S4 Pro SOC would probably cost more than 25k. plus its vanilla android, which is always a good thing.
Justin says:
Multiply your referenced cost ($299) by 1.5. So, $450 ~ P18500. That’s likely going to be the SRP here in the Philippines.
lockon says:
No?
Marcelino says:
Andaming nilalabas ng Samsung!
S3 Mini na, Galaxy Premier pa?
Chris De Vera says:
One word: OVERPRICED. I don’t know what’s going on with Samsung. The S3 Mini was also overpriced and so is this. Only the Note 2 and the SIII were decently priced. Btw, sorry to be a grammar Nazi but you it should be “in November” and “in December”, not “on”.
