Let’s discuss each aspect where the phones differ from each other.

Display

While all of them comes with a WQHD+ Infinity “O” Dynamic AMOLED HDR10+ display, their screen sizes differ from each other. Here’s the arrangement from highest to lowest of each model.

  • Galaxy S10 5G – 6.7-inch
  • Galaxy S10+ – 6.3-inch
  • Galaxy S10 – 6.1-inch
  • Galaxy S10e – 5.8-inch

Note that out of the four models, three of which comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection while only the Galaxy S10e has Gorilla Glass 5. Overall, the wide range of sizes will give consumers more options to choose from especially if they are into watching or streaming videos.

RAM and Storage

Aside from the display, there are various RAM and storage variants on each of the models.

  • Galaxy S10+ – 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM, 128GB/512GB/1TB storage
  • Galaxy S10 – 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/512GB storage
  • Galaxy S10e – 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage
  • Galaxy S10 5G – 8GB RAM, 256GB storage

Of all the Galaxy S10 models listed, the Galaxy S10+ has the most number of variants with the largest having a whopping 12GB RAM and 1TB storage. Even I don’t know what to do to maximize that 12GB but that 1TB is sure is useful if I ever want my smartphone to be a portable hard drive.

Camera

One of the main events of the Galaxy S10 series is the camera department. Each model comes with a different set of rear and front cameras which is very interesting. Take a look below:

  • Galaxy S10+ – 12MP f/1.5-f/2.4 + 16MP ultra-wide angle + 12MP Telephoto (rear), 10MP f/1.9 main + 8MP f/2.2 live focus (front)
  • Galaxy S10 – 12MP f/1.5-f/2.4 + 16MP ultra-wide angle + 12MP Telephoto (rear), 10MP f/1.9 main (front)
  • Galaxy S10e – 12MP f/1.5-f/2.4 + 16MP ultra-wide angle (rear) , 10MP f/1.9 main (front)
  • Galaxy S10 5G – 12MP f/1.5-f/2.4 + 16MP ultra-wide angle + 12MP Telephoto + 3D Depth-Sensing (rear), 10MP f/1.9 main + 8MP f/2.2 live focus (front)

For this, to get the full Galaxy camera experience, you should go with the S10+ and S10 5G since they are equipped with all the cameras that Samsung has to offer in their new smartphones.

Connectivity

If you’ve noticed, the initial leaks and reports show that the Galaxy S10 series will only have three variants but surprise surprise, Samsung released the 4th model called the S10 5G. Based on its name, you’ll already get an idea on what it has to offer. The other phones only have up to 4G LTE connectivity but this one is the company’s first smartphone to be equipped with a fully functional 5G network. We don’t know how fast can it go yet but we’re sure that this will be the start of the 5G smartphone technology for all the brands this year.

Sensors

It’s important to note that there will be no more physical fingerprint scanners for the S10 series except for one. Three of which, the S10+, S10, and S10 5G, come with an Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanning technology but only the S10e will have a side-mounted scanner just like with the Sony Xperia devices.

Battery

Last, but definitely not the least, is each model’s battery capacities. Check them out.

  • Galaxy S10 5G – 4,500mAh
  • Galaxy S10+ – 4,100mAh
  • Galaxy S10 – 3,400mAh
  • Galaxy S10e – 3,100mAh

The Galaxy S10 5G has the largest battery capacity among the ones in the series with the S10e getting the smallest mAh. However, expect that they already have an optimized battery performance that leads to having a longer-than-usual life.
