Samsung suspends Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus Android 8.0 Oreo update

Samsung has started rolling out its Experience 9.0 major software update which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo just last week.  The update had only been sent out to a handful of markets such as Turkey, Norway, the UAE, India, Belgium, Germany, France, and Poland, but the company has now stopped seeding the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus Android 8.0 Oreo update.

According to an exclusive report from SamMobile, the G950/G955-FXXU1CRAP Android 8.0 firmware files for these handsets are no longer available for download on Samsung’s servers. It is also said that the company is apparently now working on a new firmware version for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus’ Android 8.0 update which will be probably released soon.
