Specs Comparison: Cloudfone Thrill Power vs Cloudfone Thrill Power N

Two local smartphones under the same brand were recently released and have caught our attention since then. They are the Cloudfone Thrill Power and the Cloudfone Thrill Power N. With that, let us check their specs comparison.

Last year, Cloudfone has released Cloudfone Thrill Power and has been available since December 2016. It has a 5inch HD IPS LCD display with a 1280 x 720 resolution, a MediaTek MT6580 chipset, 8GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, 5MP front camera, and a massive battery of 5000mAh.

Just recently, they also have silently released Cloudfone Thrill Power N in stores this year. It has a 5inch FWVGA IPS Display with an 854 x 480 resolution, a MediaTek MT6580 chipset, 8GB internal storage, a 5MP rear camera with LED Flash, 2MP front camera, and also a massive 5000mAH battery.

Here are their detailed specs.

Here are the advantages for each smartphone:

Cloudfone Thrill Power

+ 720p resolution

+ IPS LCD

+ Higher MP in cameras

+ Internal storage expandable up to 128GB

Cloudfone Thrill Power N

+ Android 7 (Nougat)

Based from the smartphones’ advantages above, it’s apparent that Cloudfone Thrill Power has more plus sides in terms of specs while the Cloudfone Thrill Power N seems to outweigh the former by being powered by Android 7 OS but let us not judge from it quickly. While it is true that the Thrill Power has better specs, the Thrill Power N has a better Operating System which gives an improved battery life optimization. Both smartphones have the same chipset, memory, and a massive battery life but it is likely that the Thrill Power N will outlast Thrill Power in terms of battery life because of the screen resolution and the OS.

The Cloudfone Thrill Power and Cloudfone Thrill Power N sells for the same price of Php 3,499.

Both are good budget smartphones but which smartphone would you choose between the two if you were to be asked?

  1. a step backward i’d say. less specs for same price? come on. the OS doesn’t even count as a pro.

  2. buy the better hardware then find a way to install a better os- maybe there is a lineageos image for it
