The coolest Android flip-phones in the market right now

Flip-phones or phones with clamshell designs have come a long way. From being the most popular form factor for feature phones, they have also entered the realm of smartphones. Although now a niche product, flip-phones still carry a certain appeal that are wanted by a lot of people. So for this article, we compiled a list of the coolest Android flip-phones in the market right now.

The LG Wine Smart is the company’s first flip-phone which was announced in September 2014. It features a 3.5-inch display, quad-core CPU, LTE connectivity, and Android KitKat.

Samsung isn’t a stranger when it comes to flip-phones and have released a number of Android-powered ones in the past like the Hennessy. But looking at Samsung’s Chinese website only two phones are listed, the Samsung W2015 and its predecessor the Samsung W2014.

Lenovo won’t be left behind when it comes to flip-phones with the launch of its Lenovo A588T smartphone. This phone doesn’t boast much specs compared to the other phones listed here but it’s affordable at around $150 as listed on eBay.

This flip-phone from Gionee is yet to be officially unveiled but based on the specs available it is set to be a very promising device. The Gionee W900 is powered by a MediaTek processor, Android KitKat, and features two 4-inch Full HD displays.

    Sana lenovo and gionee bring them here..
    I’ve been itching to upgrade my dad’s phone.. He can’t learn to use a touch screen for some reason..

      Most of the manufacturers here in PH don’t realize the Senior market, they will never sell a FlipDroid here.

      You could get the lenovo through Ebay and Dragonpay.

      The most affordable FlipPhone you can buy is the Lenovo Flip (you can buy this from Ebay), same goes for the Wine Smart (P20,000).

      I’d want to buy one too.
