Did we miss anything? Feel free to comment down below. And if you would opt for phones of a different OS, you might also want to check out our list of the Top 5 Most Affordable Windows Phone Devices in the PH.
Update: As much as possible, we wanted to keep the list diverse with different phones from different manufacturers. Again, if we missed anything, feel free to comment down below.
What about Cherry Mobile’s Omega HD 2.0?
1.2 ghz mediatek6589 quad core procie
1 gb ram
4 gb storage, expandable to 32gb via microsd
Power544 graphics
12mp & 2mp cameras (if I remember it correctly
& they used Dragontrail glass
Php7000-Php8000 lng yan..
which is better?
CherryMobile Omega HD 2.0 or Myphone a919i?
Hiya! I hope you can also review Android phones below 5-6K! Would you also know if there’s still an Android phone out there that uses the regular sized sim card? I’m quite attached to my prepaid number. :) Thanks in advance!!!
where is Arc Mobile Memo?1.2mhz quadcore, 1gb RAM,4gb internal storage @ Php 6,199.
Mga bossing labas din kayo ng list ng top 10 quad core android phone under 10k. i’m currently choosing between lenovo a706 and huawei g525. having additional choices would be better. :)
bkit po wala ang omega HD 2.0 d2?
I’m myphone a919i user. you won’t regret it, its just so fast.
•1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8225 Snapdragon CPU on a 512mb RAM, mabilis na ba to for gaming and YouTube? I await response… :)
No matter what, avoid buying from the following:
1. StarMobile Kiosk at SM Southmall – horrible service from the women manning the booth, bastos, at when I asked if I could see the screen, she just shook her head, kept on dancing to the background music from her radio, and simply said “Buy to Demo”.
2. Cherry Mobile kiosk at Festival Mall – even if the women manning the kiosk were very nice, they were overpricing the Omega HD 2.0 by P1,000 above the SRP – they wanted P9,990.00, and when I asked why when the other Cherry Mobile stores were selling it for only P8,990, they said that their price is the correct price daw. These guys are scammers.
Is the LG Optimus L5 II really currently priced at around P5990? Or was it just the discounted price during its launch at MOA?
Marami man kayong alam limited lang sa anung alam niyo at kung pano niyo itranslate into a cohesive and coherent thought process.
Pabayaan niyo na si Freking.
Actually natutuwa nga si Freking pag maraming comments dito. adds traffic to the site = more ads = more money
Yeahhh..magagaling Dev ng a919i group…mababait pa.
Walang sawang sumasagot sa mga katanungan…walang bayad and mga mode mila…approve pa mismo ng my phone comp.
all that i can say: satisfied myphone a919i here!
Tl;dr
A919i VS Other Listed Phones
Winner: A919i
maganda talaga a919i kahit walang pambili makikita mo sa group nila active lahat ng developer at madaming custom ROM. Solid tlga sila kaya d masasayang ang pera
Huawei Ascend Y300 is surely a bang for the buck. I’m very satisfied with it. It can surely compete with other phones. And its very cheap too!
my A919i can last 2days easy =)) with 100% 2000Mah of battery
Hahaha!
Cloudfone Thril 430x is GREAT on battery life, and Cost under P6,500.
OS: Android 4.1 ( Jelly Bean ).
CPU: Qualcomm MSM8225 1.2GHz.
4160mAh Polymer battery.
4.3 inch , 960 x 540 pixels.
MEMORY Card slot – Yes, up to 32GB.
Internal – 4GB ROM, 768 MB RAM.
8.0MP, auto-focus with Dual LED flash.
It’s true, it’s currently the best in terms of battery, sad to say, it would never be on the list since it was a 2012 phone.
Okay sana tong mga phones na to. Kaso lang, yung battery yung kadalasang problema. Napakababa yung capacity considering the screen size, resolution and OS used.
LG Optimus L7 II lang yata yung decent yung battery dito ah.
ano po mas maganda ung samsung galaxy s duos / Samsung Galaxy Fame
how about featuring the best dual-sim android smartphones? thanks.
O+ 8.6 looks like Myphone 848i with additional 0.5 screen and a jellybean 4.1 OS, though 848i will just cost you 3.9K not 6K. looks like the extra cost was eaten by a larger battery.
Alcatel one touch sapphire 2 po bears dragon trail glass for just 6990. it works good naman..
Uhm CM Omega HD 2.0 and the SKK Silver!
When you said top 10, you should at least made a case for each of them. Using the phrase “did we miss anything” does not make the author exempted from bashing. Yet another trash from freking.
Wow…ang daming experts pala dito…daming reklamo. He just said “Did we miss anything? Feel free to comment down below”. Calma lang peeps, blog lang ito. :) Why not blog your own “top 10 androids smartphones under 10k” article to show him what he missed?
Oh I think I get why a lot of people are i-rate here.
In my deduction, majority of people who went on their way to see this list are expecting these 2 Big-time hit phones in it.
Myphone a919i(mostly for those who own it)
&
OmegaHD 2.0(also mostly for those who own it.)
A919i s there, top spot, All smiles for the other party. :))
But unfortunately OHD2.0 isn’t on the list and I’m convinced a lot of people own and use it, just let alone judging by the Facebook Group page for OHD2.0 users. There’s a lot, since it’s also in the market long enough to make some good sales already. But not longer than A919i. So I get what you feel guys. I too am disappointed that our magnificent device was just overlooked by the editor.
also
I wonder how Blaze 2.0 and Diamond V3 got in the list so quickly , when it was just released just recently, there’s even barely if not one but a few reviews about those 2 handsets yet. O_O
I wonder how much was considered to “Carefully Select” these as the best 10.
Yes you did miss something, Omega HD 2.0 big-time buddy.
Point lang ng karamihan dito…wala dapat 17 year old (self-proclaimed) Tech enthusiast na pakalat-kalat at gawa ng gawa ng walang kakwenta-kwentang mga article na mukhang wala naman nag re-regulate, I dunno how this kid gets away with it, kung ako yung site owner matagal ko nang na-sisante ‘to… He just writes / conceives awful ideas.
The kid sucks….OR unless Ikaw mismo si Freking , oh well…
”As much as possible, we wanted to keep the list diverse with different phones from different manufacturers”
So that means a less diverse choice would negate its purpose from being called a top smartphone?
Come on kid, I get your point there, but more than half of those are way overpriced and doesn’t resonate to being called a good/great value phone
Most of us tech consumers, heto ang pang-intindi ng word na ginamit mo sa title ng article mo, since below Php10k ang criteria, tight budget comes to mind, right?
TOP =
1. Offers (very) good value for money 2.Features/functionality exceeds its price point
Sinabi na nga, “Did we miss anything? Feel free to comment down below.” You can make a comment without necessarily insulting anyone. It’s obvious many failed in GMRC class.
^Alternick ni Freking. Idiot.
They need to list on yugas homepage when bob writes the article so we know to skip it. I’m really getting tired of his bad journalism. Every article he writes is a waste of time. Abe please take over articles again.
TROLLS!!!
Aw. Chill lang po mga sir. Kaya nga may tanong kung may kulang daw po feel free to comment down. :)
Ilang taon na ba si Freking? mukhang napakabata pa para maghawak ng keyboard, or i-share ang kanyang nalalaman na puro sablay naman, needs more practice hijo, I dunno kung bakit pinapayagan kang mag publish sa site na ito (with your obvious limited knowledge)
Konting hasa pa hijo, I mean, hilaw na hilaw ka pa eh, halos lahat ng article na ikaw ang nagsulat, NAGKAKALAT ka and you don’t seem to know where you’re at.
obiously, he has more skills than commenter here kasi sya napili d2, ngayon lang naman nagkalat yung haters ul8
wala sa edad yan. may nakaka 9 year old nga na genius
This list sucks. No basis at all why it made it to the list like scores of different criteria like performance, display quality, build quality, affordability…
Most of the phone in the list are not hd display neither are they dualcore at least… the type of quadcore and dualcore are not assessed properly. Take this article down. Please. It annoys and displeases logical people.
A919i > ALL
What a terrible list. Nasan ang Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0 and the SKK Silver. Wala man lang effort na magsulat ng short description or blurb.
I agree with Charles. Those are great phones that should have been included in the list. I wish the writer could elaborate on what criteria he used for arriving at the 10 best Android phones under 10k.
Btw, hardware specs are not the only important factor in choosing an android phone. Software support by the company and the Dev community should also be a major factor. There should be regular upgrades. So, a more popular phone is usually a wiser choice. If you won’t update your software, your phone will have very much less value after just a few months.
I really couldn’t grasp either, or what prompted Freking to do a rundown on what he thinks is best ATM.
Anay talaga ‘tong writer na ‘to, hinihila pababa yung credibility ng site
@abuzalzal
Ang gulo mo talaga. Una sabi mo:
Great! This list erased all of my doubts!!!
Now I’m gonna get the lesser spec’d Starmobile Diamond V3 or the ALCATEL OTS instead of the OHD 2, since number 3 at number 6 sila respectively
kudos to Freking for this comprehensive, unbiased list
TAPOS NGAYON SABIHIN MO ANAY YUN WRITER, ANO BA TALAGA KUYA!!!!
Pakipalitan title, instead na “our” dapat “my”. Thanks ;)
Where’s CM Omega HD 2.0????
May I ask Bob Freking, Ano ba criteria mo sa pagpili ng ”Best”? because with your list, you don’t seem to grasp the performance per Peso/Dollar realm. Yung omega hd 2, it beats the MyPhone in all aspects except for the USB OTG functionality, why?
uhh… di ba mas maganda blaze 2.0 kaysa sa OHD 2.0?
MyPhone lang ang HD display…?
Where’s the Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0 and the SKK Mobile Silver? Sorry but I’m not impressed with your list.
Why wala yun mga sikat na unit from Cherry Mobile and even Starmobile..Heto tulungan na lang natin ang author..
CM
1. Omega HD -7,990
2. Omega HD 2.0 – 8,990
3. Flame 2.0 – 6,990
4. Skyfire 2.0 – 7,990
5. Blaze 2.0 – 9,490
6. Thunder 2.0 -6,299
Starmobile
1. Diamond- 9,990
2. Flirt – 9,300
3. Goal
“(Note: Prices are based on online sellers and SRPs; listed IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER.)”
Let’s see…No mention of the cheaper Omega HD 2.0
Dragontrail Glass? YES…A919i NO
JB 4.2? YES….A919i NO
Apps can be installed direct to SD? YES…A919i NO
Plus we have better build , no stupid map plastered on the back, bigger battery,
No clue how they could’ve left this one out…really
“Plus WE have better build” – Now we know why your feeling is hurt. HAHAHAHA
even both are jellybean OS out of the box, as ive said before… performance quality sa a919i kesa sa OHD…. napapansin ko ito while playing Gameloft’s Modern Combat 4…… even though both are quad core’s nagkakatalo sila sa processing ng GPU, mapapansin na may flicker lag sa HD 2.0 sa oras na magdash ka sa mga enemy na kelangan mo patayin… but in moderate games ok naman…
so merong up and downs ang parehong phones… pero ang tinitingnan ko is yung aftersales service…
