Unihertz has opened a Kickstarter for their newest Jelly phone: the Jelly Star – a transparent 3-inch smartphone with an LED light
back.
The Unihertz Jelly Star has a 3.03-inch IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass. Powered by a Mediatek Helo G99, it comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The device’s rear camera setup consists of a 50MP wide PDAF and 2MP macro while having a 16MP front shooter. It also comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and programmable buttons on the side for shortcuts and quick access.
The battery capacity of the Jelly star is 2000mAh. The LED lights on the back light up based on notification sounds, music, and ringtones. It uses an Android 13 OS and has NFC support and an IR blaster.
The Unihertz Jelly Star’s price starts at HKD 1,329 in the company’s Kickstarter page 18. Backers who go for this will receive the phone no later than October 2023.
