Luxury smartphone maker Vertu has introduced a new smartphone that carries high-end specs in the form of the Constellation. It’s also worth noting that the handset is dual-SIM which is a first for the company.
Vertu Constellation specs:
5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display @ 2560 x 1440 resolution
Snapdragon 820 CPU
4GB RAM
128GB internal storage
Expandable via microSD
12MP rear camera with 1.55um pixels
4K video recording
Dual front speakers with Dolby Digital Plus
NFC
USB Type-C
3220mAh battery with wireless charging support
Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow
Apart from those specs, its display is reinforced with what the company describes as a scratchproof, 140-carat 6th generation sapphire crystal. It will be hand-crafted straight from England with an anodized aluminum and leather materials.
Additional features include 24-hour concierge service through a push of a button (because rich people) and access to iPass which is the world’s largest Wi-Fi network (again, rich people perks). There’s no word as to how much the Constellation will cost but it’s coming from Vertu so expect an unreasonable price for a smartphone.
