ViewSonic yesterday launched a slew of tablets and Android smartphones. A bit surprising that they’d also do mobile handsets but this Viewsonic V350 Two Smart is actually the first dual-SIM Android handset we’ve seen locally.
The ViewSonic V350 is their entry-level handset that runs on Android 2.2 Froyo, although they say there will be a Gingerbread update by end of May via OTA.
ViewSonic V350 Two Smart specs:
3.5-inch display @ 320×480 pixels
up to 32GB via microSD
EDGE/GPRS
5MP camera
Bluetooth 2.0
WiFi 802.11 b/g
GPS w/ aGPS support
See quick hands-on video below:
The handset will be available in stores later this month or first week of May. Viewsonic reps from Taiwan would not give exact pricing information but they mentioned it would be in the $250 range (which could translate to Php10,000 to Php12,000).

Where can I buy the ViewSonic V350 in Manila?
ViewSonic : 512 ROM / 512 RAM
Orbit : 512 ROM / 256 RAM
Torque : 256 ROM / 256 RAM
Ryan says:
Does anyone have an idea where the Viewsonic is sold? Thanks in advance.
Fric says:
The phone support 3g!!!
Eason says:
Nice to say the are more competitors coming to town, but two of their products are
Viewsonic 7 – Cherry Mobile Superion and their Windows 7 Tablet is the same as the Redfox tablet.
Meaning its OEM, well I guess it depends on their after sales service. :D
Shakey says:
Will wait for Cherry Mobile Orbit. Same price range and it has 3G.
John Clemente says:
thanks for the review!
paul says:
No 3G? Boooo!!! I sometimes use my phone as a modem for my laptop when wi-fi isn’t available. Pass…
superG. says:
Gosh! Will buy one when it arrives!
Shakey says:
the Cherry Mobile Orbit looks better on paper since it has 3g
d says:
no 3g sucks. mahal. mas sulit pa mga entry level ng samsung, same price range din.
garuhhh says:
yeah, meron ako nakita yung Galaxy mini (nga ba yun?) parang around 10k range din ata sya. Android phone din (mukhang 3G enabled naman).
But if its not android (even if it’s cheap),i wouldn’t really buy it! after kong matikman ang pagkadami daming apps na pweding i-install..
:D
someone says:
dual sim din ba yung sa samsung na sinasabi mo? kung hindi, it’s not worth comparing. clearly iba market ng dual sim phones. kung dual sim ang hanap ng buyer, he/she wont even consider non-dual sim phones.
Faith@ahead says:
no 3g? hmmm… it’s too expensive for just a dual sim.
Gumz says:
Sulit kaya din yan?
kwekuclyde says:
I think Torque also released a dual sim android, just like this one, no 3G, must be from the same OEM hehehe
silverlokk says:
Guys, for whatever it may be worth, Torque’s having a two-day sale. About P600 off their dual-SIM handsets. One is just under 8K, the other just under 10K. Same specs as this VS more or less — i.e., no 3G. Not sure the last means much to me, since the Torques and the VS have WiFi.
KennyV says:
Parang kahawig nya ung HTC Desire S haha!
