Vivo sure made waves in Q1 2018 when they first showcased their in-display fingerprint scanner and APEX concept smartphone. Although, it seems that the concept will arrive earlier than expected and is now called the Vivo NEX.
The Vivo NEX is set to be revealed on June 12. The company made the announcement via a series of post on their Weibo account. We already know from their reveal in MWC that the NEX will feature a FullView display with almost zero bezels and an in-display fingerprint scanner that covers the entire bottom of the screen. Of course, there’s also the expected popping front camera on the top.
Not much is known of the specs except for rumors that it comes equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset. The rumors also point to a price tag of ¥6,998 (~Php 57,231). Either way, let’s wait until June 12 to know more about the Vivo NEX.
