Summary of Advantages
VIVO V11
OPPO F9
Looking at the summary above the V11 and F9 are in a very tight battle, let’s start off with the display. Both enjoy a relatively generous screen real-estate and that famed sexy front notch for bigger space. Resolution is also good at Full HD, the only real difference is that the V11 has a slightly bigger display. This means it has a slight advantage when it comes to viewing space. Pixels will be denser on the F9 though, but that won’t be noticeable in real-world instances.
There’s only a minimal difference on the performance front as the SD660 and Helio P60 have almost the same raw power. This is the same on the GPU front as the Adreno 512 and Mali-G72 are also almost equal. Even in RAM and storage options, the two devices are the same, offering 6/64GB combinations. So, when it comes to overall performance there really isn’t any clear winner.
Moving on to photography, it’s a bit of a mixed bag spec-wise. VIVO’s offering boasts higher megapixels on its secondary rear while OPPO’s star has more on its main rear. This will bring varied effects and even though OPPO might be the clear winner since the main lens does the heavy lifting, the V11’s secondary might offer enough assistance to close that gap.
Then again, we’ve yet to test the V11’s full photography prowess and megapixels aren’t always the winning factor in cameras. Especially now that AI is a big factor in smartphone photography, which both smartphones have by the way. Either way, here’s our sample shots from the OPPO F9.
Battery-wise, the OPPO F9 leads a bit on paper thanks to its 3,500mAh battery. The V11 isn’t far behind though at 3,400mAh. Both have their own fast charging gimmicks with OPPO flaunting their famed VOOC and VIVO their dual-engine fast charging. We’ve yet to test VIVO’s fast charging tech but OPPO’s proved to be quite effective in giving quick juice when needed. We can’t compare battery life just yet as we haven’t fully tested the V11.
A minor feature advantage of VIVO’s new star is that it has the brand’s famed under-display fingerprint scanning. So, those who are a fan of that feature may lean to the V11 more as the F9 has the standard rear-mounted setup.

A Xiaomi User says:
Snapdragon 660 is FAR superior to the Helio P60 in gaming.
Helio P60 = 81.6 Gflops
Snapdragon 660 = 255 Gflops
Judging by those numbers the Snapdragon 660 absolutely destroys the Helio P60
rj says:
then how come that in every comparison reviews and antutu benchmarks oppo f9 wins ? i think you only consider the gflops without consodering each chipset capabilities .. also p60 scores higher than 660 on antutu
Xiaomi User says:
I think Adreno 512 is MUCH better than the Mali G-72. If you look at the raw power:
Helio P60 = 81.6 Gflops
Snapdragon 660 = 255 Gflops
Its clearly better than the Helio P60 so gaming on the vivo V11 will also be much better than the Oppo F9.
