Again, the three devices are pretty much identical except for a few components: RAM, storage, and front camera. The Y95 is the most powerful in the group by sporting a large 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, and a 20MP front camera.
Who is it for? The Y95 is aimed at users who have plenty of apps to run and want to make sure it doesn’t slow down under such load. This is great for casual gamers as well. The large storage is also perfect for those who plan to install big apps, takes lots of photos, videos, and store large amounts of music files. Lastly, it also caters to selfies lovers who want the best resolution possible thanks to the 20MP front camera.
Next is the Y91. It’s a bit toned down compared to the Y95 by sporting a smaller 3GB RAM, a decent 32GB storage, and an 8MP front camera. Basically, it’s for casual users on a budget who want something that can handle a decent amount of workload and files but doesn’t cost much.
Lastly, we have the Y91i. As the name suggests, this is a toned-down model of the Y91 and is only different in the memory department by having a 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. This is pretty entry-level and won’t do a lot of heavy lifting but it is a good starting phone for casual users and heavy social media users who are looking for a budget phone but with a big battery that can last them a whole day.
Let’s take a look at the price. For those with a smaller budget, the Y91i is a good starting point at PHP 8,499USD 145INR 12,278EUR 138CNY 1,055. If you can stretch the budget a bit, you can settle with the Y91 for PHP 9,999USD 170INR 14,445EUR 162CNY 1,241. But if you want the best, you can go for the Y95 for PHP 13,999USD 239INR 20,223EUR 227CNY 1,737.

Joe says:
I’ve just bought the Y91. It’s pretty decent. The Funtouch OS is such a great Android based OS. It is like an iOS (which I am used to). Hopefully they have lowered the price a little bit. But good job vivo for this smartphone!
horace says:
Thanks Joe for the feedback. By “decent” do you mean it would be “great” for someone, like me, who mainly surfs the net? But would be just “decent” for someone who needs a Samsung S series cell phone?
czarina says:
