Windows Phone is dead

In a tweet by Joe Belfiore, Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President of Windows, he admitted that Windows Phone is dead and that it will only receive bug fixes and security updates.

Belfiore revealed that they [Microsoft] will still support the platform [Windows Phone] in terms of bug fixes, security updates, etc. but building new features aren’t their focus now.

When a certain tweet-er asked Belfiore if developers are still going to build new apps for Windows phone, he said that, unfortunately, volume of users of Windows phone is too low for most companies to invest on.

Well, we guess it’s time to truly say goodbye to Windows Phone.

Windows is not something a user like me will use on a Smartphone, because it’s not user friendly specially for grannys. :D It’s such a bad thing that Microsoft did on its phones with poor apps sources to download.

Windows has been dying for a long time. There were no apps available. No youtube, viber and other common apps.
