After teasing their launch with this video, Xiaomi launched the Mi 5X today in China.
Aesthetically, Xiaomi boasts a fresher-looking design on the Mi 5X with concealed antenna bands, a full metal body with anti-fingerprint coating, and a thickness of only 7.3mm.
The Mi 5X looks to bring the specs of the Mi 6 to a larger audience, as it also comes equipped with a 5.5-inch FHD display, Snapdragon 625, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and dual 12MP rear cameras. It also boasts high-quality audio with its DHS Audio Calibration Algorithm for improved speaker and headphone output.
The phone will also feature MIUI 9, the newest iteration of the Chinese company’s popular ROM. It touts faster app loading times, a smart assistant, and split-screen mode.
The Xiaomi Mi 5X is available in Black, Gold, and Rose Gold. It’s priced at CNY 1499 (~Php11k)
