Qualcomm’s quad-core entry, the Snapdragon APQ8064 S4, has now found its first home in the form of Xiaomi Mi-Two smartphone.
Last month we showed you guys the benchmark results of the Snapdragon APQ8064 on a developer’s tablet. You can read more about the processor here. With its new home, we can finally see how the new processor performs in real world scenario.
The Xiaomi Mi-Two will be sold for 1,999 Yuan (or about Php13k) and will be available starting this October.
Unfortunately, just like the Meizu MX that we also featured before, there’s a slim chance that we may see this quad-core smartphone being officially launched in the Philippines.

I live here in the Philippines and have been using the mi-one phone since February 2012.
The MIUI rom (modified android) which comes with it is very smooth and amazing! I have someone hand carry it from china and yes, I can confirm for you that it has an english language.
This is because the MIUI was originally based from the cyanogen mod and it has a lot of fans/developers from around the world. see miui.us if you’re anxious :P

Last year’s launch was online-exclusive. They can’t be simply bought from retailers at malls in China, so you have to wait for your reservation ticket online.
Hopefully it won’t be like that this year.

Wrong info posted. It’s 1,999 RMB not HKD! It’s different from HKD. This will cost 14k Php or according to our market today 13 273 pesos.
