The specs of the Redmi 4 was initially spotted at Geekbench’s database which include a Snapdragon 625 processor and 3GB of RAM with Android 6.0.1 running the software department. This was reportedly confirmed by a Chinese source and along with it came more information like a 5-inch Full HD display, metal injection molded body, fingerprint scanner, and 4100mAh battery with support for fast charging. The Redmi 4 will allegedly launch on August 25 with a price of CNY699 (approx. Php5K) for the base model with 3GB RAM/32GB storage.

On the other hand, the awaited Mi Note 2 will reportedly have a Samsung AMOLED touch display, Snapdragon 821 CPU, 3600mAh of battery capacity that also supports fast charging. Internal storage is spacious at 64GB/128GB variants while RAM is at 6GB. It will have a metal body as well in addition to a fingerprint scanner. Pricing was reported to be at CNY2,499 (approx. Php17.5K) and CNY2,799 (approx. Php19.6K) for the 64GB and 128GB storage, respectively. Launch is expected to be on September 5.

As with other leaks, do take these with a pinch of salt as nothing is official until the company announces it.
