A month after Xiaomi China unveiled their newest budget smartphones, the company has officially launched the Redmi 6 and 6A in the Philippines.
The Redmi 6 comes with a 5.45-inch 18:9 IPS display with 1440 x 720 resolution, a MediaTek Helio P22 processor, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB internal storage, 12MP + 5MP dual rear cameras, 5MP front camera, and 3,000mAh battery. The Redmi 6A, on the other hand, sports a lower configuration with the same display, but with a Helio A22 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13MP rear, 5MP front, and 3,000mAh battery.

The Redmi 6 is priced at Php7,490 (3GB + 32GB) and Php8,990 (4GB + 64GB), while the Redmi 6A is priced at Php5,290 (2GB + 16GB) and Php5,990 (2GB + 32GB).
There will also be a flash sale at Lazada for the Redmi 6 on July 23, with the 3GB + 32GB model selling for Php6,990, while the 4GB + 64GB model selling for Php8,490. The Redmi 6A, on the other hand, will also be on flash sale on July 23 at Shopee with the 2GB + 32GB selling for Php4,990.
Both the Redmi 6 and 6A will also be available at Authorized Mi Stores in August.
