Here are the advantages of each smartphone:
All three smartphones are practically the same in terms of display size and panel used. One deciding factor, however, is that the Redmi 7 comes with a Gorilla Glass 5 which is better than the Gorilla Glass 3 of the Realme 3. With that, the former wins in terms of screen protection.
Performance-wise, the Redmi 7 and Honor 8C sports the same Snapdragon 632 while the Realme 3 comes with the Helio P60 chipset. Based on our AnTuTu benchmark results, the former chipset got a 101,512 while the latter has 128,288. These numbers mean that Realme 3 is the best performing device among the three phones, not to mention, it also has a 4GB RAM variant for better multi-tasking.
For camera performance, the Honor 8C and Realme 3 comes out on top in terms of the rear camera aperture. These phones provide faster shutter speeds and better quality in terms of low-light shots. We’ve yet to test them out but we’ll update you once we get our hands on all the units.
It is worth noting that the Redmi 7 and Realme 3 already have the Android 9 Pie operating system out-of-the-box while the Honor 8C only has Android 8.1 Oreo.
In terms of battery performance, Realme 3 has the highest capacity among the three. However, based on our tests, the Honor 8c lasted for 12 Hours and 58 Minutes while the Realme 3 only got 11 Hours and 40 Minutes. These numbers mean that the former is the longest lasting device, yet. We’ll get the final verdict once we test out the Redmi 7 in the coming weeks.
Here are the prices of each smartphone:
In terms of value-for-money, go with the Realme 3 since it has the most to give based on specs. You can get the Redmi 7 if you are into a more durable screen and want to save a little bit of cash. Lastly, the Honor 8C is a great choice if you are tired of seeing the usual glossy design with gradient colors.

honor 8c is priced way higher than the redmi 7 when they use the same soc. Realme 3 has the best value for money, and destroys both since it has a helio p60 that can be found on the oppo f7 and f9.
