The best way to look at their differences is to pair them. The Pro models have the same 6.67-inch with 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and Gorilla Glass 5.
The Note 11S and the Note 11, on the other hand, have a slightly smaller 6.43-inch with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and Gorilla Glass 5.
All four have FHD+ resolutions and AMOLED panels, so you can expect the same level of sharpness and color richness. But if you want the largest and smoothest screens, go for the Pros.
Xiaomi used a combination of Qualcomm and MediaTek chips for the series. The Note 11 Pro 5G, being the most high-end of the four, has the Snapdragon 695, while the standard Note 11 uses a Snapdragon 680. The Note 11 Pro 4G and Note 11S, on the other hand, are equipped with the Helio G96. These are decent mid-range chipsets, but we’ll know more about their performance once we have them all for review.
The Note 11 Pro 5G, Note 11 Pro 4G, and the Note 11S are offered in 6GB and 8GB of RAM, while the Note 11 is available in 4GB and 6GB RAM. Storage-wise, all carry 64GB or 128GB of storage.
In terms of expandability, all have support for microSD cards. However, only the Note 11S and Note 11 have dedicated slots, while the Pros use a hybrid setup.
All four devices are versatile shooters. The Pro models have the same triple-rear camera configuration with a 108MP main shooter. The Note 11S and the Note 11, on the other hand, have quad-rear cameras, but the former has a higher 108MP main sensor, while the latter has 50MP.
For selfies, the Note 11 Pro 5G, Note 11 Pro 4G, and the Note 11S have 16MP cameras, while the Note 11 has 13MP.
The four are almost identical in connectivity specs and other features. All have dual-SIM, WiFi ac, NFC, IR blaster, GPS, side-mounted fingerprint scanners, USB-C port, dual speakers, 3.5mm audio jack, and IP53 splash-proof bodies.
What’s different is that the Pro models have Bluetooth 5.1, while the rest have Bluetooth 5.0. Moreover, the Note 11 Pro 5G is the only model with 5G connectivity.
All four are equipped with 5,000mAh batteries but with different charging rates. The Pros offer the fastest at 67W, while the rest max out at 33W.
Which one is for you?
The local SRPs for the series are yet to be announced, but we can make an assessment on which device is for you given the specs.
If you want the best from the series with a 120Hz refresh rate, 67W charging, and require 5G connectivity, the only option is the Note 11 Pro 5G. If 5G is not needed, and want to save some cash, the standard Note 11 Pro should suffice.
Those who are on a limited budget may opt for the standard Note 11. We think it’s a good entry-level daily driver considering that it has a 90Hz refresh rate, dedicated microSD card slot, and quad-rear cameras. But if you want a more improved version of the Note 11 with a higher resolution main and front camera, and Helio G96 chip, go for the Note 11S.
