With only a few months left for 2012, Sony Mobile was already reported to be working on its 2013 flagship codenamed “Odin.”
A leaked User-Agent Profile (UAProf) revealed that “Odin” will run Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and a Sony 10.1.A.0.XXX firmware under model numbers: C6502, C6503 and C6506. This suggests that Odin will have regional/carrier variants like the Xperia smartphones currently out. And since the unreleased Odin is already running Jelly Bean we can hope that Sony equips it with Android 4.2 when it comes out of production.
As would normally occur, a mid-range and an entry-level Xperia are also in tow. The mid-range “C160X” will sport a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A CPU, an Adreno 200 GPU, 480 x 320 resolution display and runs Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. As for the entry-level “C150X”, the specs are yet to be revealed.
