After updating the Zenfone 2 Laser, ASUS is now seeding the latest Marshmallow update to their long-lasting smartphone.
The Zenfone Max (ZC550KL) newest software version will be 13.8.26.31 build with Android 6.0. On the forum, ASUS didn’t release much info about the changes in the update aside from the note of removal of select ASUS apps and its replacement of Google services. Also, the newest 6.0 version of Android doesn’t support APP2SD anymore, so it’s adviceable to transfer all the apps to internal storage before updating.
