ZTE has launched in China its new budget-friendly smartphone that packs a 5-inch HD display, 13 megapixel camera, Snapdragon quad-core CPU, and LTE connectivity – the Redbull.
As mentioned above, the ZTE Redbull sports a 5-inch 720p display, a 13 megapixel Sony CMOS main camera with F2.2 aperture, an 88-degree wide-angle 5 megapixel front camera, microSD card support, and LTE connectivity. Powering the device is a quad-core Snapdragon (MSM8926 or MSM8928) CPU, and a 2,400mAh battery.
Here’s the fun part, the Redbull comes in two variants: a 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage model (Youth) which costs 799 Yuan or around $130; and a 2GB RAM, 8GB internal storage model (Energy) which costs 999 Yuan or around $160.
The Redbull comes in five colors – White, Lolita Pink, Primrose Yellow, Lime Green, and Sea Blue. Unfortunately, it looks like a China exclusive as of the moment. No sign yet from ZTE if they will make it available internationally.

docmay says:
Well this is a phone for a decent price. Why cant CM or myPhone not produce something like that, instead of the ridiculous line up as that of CM. Worthless dual and quadcore sets. such a pity its not coming soon
GadgetFreak says:
parisan ni og Vodka… BOOOM! deadly cocktail! LOL!
Chris says:
It looks like a great phone for that price, LTE incuded.
What a shame that cannot buy in phillippines, same with XIAMI brand :(
I wouldnt name it redbull though – i think they gonna have at least confusions in worst case law suits..
cheers chris
Mr A says:
And here I am thinking that this a limited edition phone created for the Redbull energy drink brand by ZTE.
e.d says:
kelan kaya available dito sa pinas yan?
MrPhabletBulacan says:
ayos to kung makarating sa pinas ng same price, it would be the cheapest snapdragon 400 phone, makakalaban nito G2 Mini (snap400 not the tegra4i) pero syempre lamang itong redbull… tigilan na ang pagbili ng basurang samsung phones tulad ng galaxy ace style eek…
meh says:
this sounds a lot better than some of the other offerings, snapdragon and LTE. Not bad at all
ram says:
lol, dito sa pinas magiging $300+ yan, haist. About redbull, satingin ko ok lang yun, hindi naman mismong brand ng phone yun, parang metaphor lang siguro, mura pero powerful hehehe
androidfreak says:
oo nga diba patent license name yung Redbull…pero kung pwede ba yun 130 us dollar dito sa atin…baka benta na yan dito ng 300 us dollar.
mig says:
trademark naman ser, patent medyo ibang dimensiyon na yon haha
abuzalzal says:
Whoa, are they sure that the ”REDBULL” branding will not give them any trouble? Mga hinayupak na Intsik talaga
archie says:
