Ford expands its lineup of SUVs with the arrival of the 2020 Ford Everest Sport and an improved Everest Titanium.
The Ford Everest Sport is powered by a 2.0-liter Turbo Diesel Engine that delivers up to 178hp and 420Nm of torque. It is mated with a 10-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift for better acceleration, fuel efficiency, and smoother rides from asphalt to terrains.
It is equipped with smart driving features like Cruise Control, Electronic Power Assist Steering (EPAS), Electronic Stability Control with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), Roll Stability Control, as well as a rear-view camera and parking sensors that ensure the safety of the driver and the passengers.
The 2020 Ford Everest Sport comes in a bolder look. Its interior sport a unique blue stitching accent. Outside, it has a new mesh grille design, an embossed “Everest” hood badge at the front, “Sport” decal on the liftgate, LED headlamps, daytime running lights, 20-inch glossy black alloy wheels, and exterior mirrors on the side. Among its unique features include an 8-way power driver seat, smart keyless entry with push-button start, a hands-free power liftgate, and an 8-inch touchscreen entertainment system that supports Apple Carplay, Android Auto, and voice-activated controls via Sync 3. The mid-range SUV is also equipped with 10 speakers.
The 2020 Ford Everest Sport is available in four colors: Absolute Black, Aluminum Metallic, Arctic White, and Deep Crystal Blue. It has a starting SRP of PHP P1,868,000 and will be available in all Ford dealerships nationwide starting May 22, 2020. Those who will place a reservation before May 31, 2020 will get a free 3-year scheduled service plan.
Ford also shared the new upgrades for the Everest Titanium series. The Everest 2.0L Bi-Turbo Titanium+ 4×4 AT and Everest 2.0L Turbo Titanium 4×2 AT are now equipped with LED projector headlamps, while the 4×4 variant adds a high-mount USB. The Everest 2.0L Bi-Turbo Titanium+ 4×4 AT and Everest 2.0L Turbo Titanium 4×2 AT are priced at PHP 2,299,000 and PHP 1,995,000, respectively.
