Toyota has just unveiled the all-new Avanza in Indonesia. The third-generation Avanza now features an all-new design after a decade of minor facelifts.
The Avanza now gets LED headlamps in the front and back. The E-variant comes with 15-inch alloy wheels, while the G-variant gets two-tone 16-inch alloy wheels. The top of the line Avanza comes with auto-retracting side mirrors and rear combination lamps.
The all-new Avanza gets a redesigned dashboard with a 7 or 9-inch infotainment display, depending on your variant. The seats feature what Toyota calls the “long sofa” mode, where the rear seats can combine with the front to create a long row of seating. The G variant also comes with a tilt and telescopic adjustable steering wheel with controls for audio.
The Toyota Avanza comes with MacPherson struts in the front and torsion beam in the rear. Powering the MPV is a 1.3-liter in-line four-cylinder engine with 97 horsepower and 122Nm of torque paired to a 5 speed manual on the E-variant. The G variant comes with a 1.5-liter engine capable of 105 horsepower and 137Nm of torque.
The all-new Avanza comes in five colors: Purplish Silver, Gray Metallic, Black Metallic, Silver Mica Metallic, and White.
The Toyota Avanza comes in at IDR 206,200,000 for the E variant and IDR 228,500,000 for the G variant.
