Western Digital has revealed that 4TB SD cards will become a reality in 2025.
4TB SD cards are official as Western Digital as revealed the 4TB SanDisk Extreme PRO SDUC™ UHS-I memory card. This will be the first time that a 4TB SD card will exist.
This new SD card is set to release in 2025 next year and will be showcased at National Association of Broadcasters 2024 or NAB 2024. Attendees of the event will catch a glimpse of the SD card.
Two different 2TB SD cards will be revealed in NAB 2024: an SDXC™ and microSDXC™ memory cards. The 2TB microSDXC SD card is set to launch in summer of this year.
