ABS-CBN has recently announced the availability of its local movies on digital, cable, satellite TV following the temporary closure of most cinemas due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Movies under ABS-CBN Films, including those from Star Cinema, Cinema One Originals, and Black Sheep productions will be available on the network’s own streaming platform iWantTFC and digital site KTX.ph. As for the cable and satellite TV, the network has partnered with Philippine cable companies SKYcable and Cignal to distribute its movies in a pay-per-view scheme.
Viewers may get 48-hour access to ABS-CBN’s latest movies in their chosen platform for PHP 150. You may check this link to see the complete procedures for each platform.
The first ABS-CBN film that will be available across the mentioned platforms is the horror movie U-Turn starring Kim Chiu. It is scheduled to launch on October 30, 2020 on all platforms. Its celebrity digital premiere on ktx.ph will be on October 29, 2020.
Other upcoming films that are slated to release on multiple platforms include My Lockdown Romance, Boyette (Not A Girl, Yet), Four Sisters Before the Wedding, Princess Dayareese, and Hello Stranger The Movie.

Paul says:
As much as ABS-CBN deserves a shot on their online platforms if only to pave the way for other Filipino multimedia, I don’t think charging that much for 1 movie that expires in 48 hours when you can instead get a 1 month Netflix mobile sub for the same price is the way to go.
