Adobe Firefly AI video model announced, coming this year

The Adobe Firefly AI video model has been announced, slated to launch later this year. This is an AI-powered tool made to improve video editing workflows for Adobe Premiere Pro among other platforms.

Adobe Firefly leveraging AI was initially introduced in March this year. Ever since, it’s been developed for design and imaging purposes and has been integrated with Adobe Creative Cloud.

Just this week, Adobe posted a video on YouTube to give netizens a sneak peek at their latest activity. The new Adobe Firefly AI video model aims to help directors, creators, and the like speed up the production process.

The tool aims to streamline the workflow with tasks like color correction, audio mixing, and even visual effects. Editors may also use the upcoming integration as an eraser for unwanted objects and smoother jump cuts.

The tool also uses context, helping editors find the right insert clip for videos. This should be an appreciated feature that will help people who are stuck on a gap in between finishing projects.

Notably, this is a text-to-video function that uses prompts for image generation, reference pegs, and camera controls. Future users should keep this in mind! Work on your prompts, as the platform only works as well as instructed.
