AMD launches Radeon Pro W5700

AMD has launched the 7nm Radeon Pro W5700 graphics card designed for professional PC workstations.

Running on the latest RDNA architecture, the Radeon Pro W5700 performs 25% better per clock while being 18% more efficient compared to AMD’s previous generation of GCN graphics cards. It’s the first workstation graphics card that supports AMD’s latest PCIe 4.0 that is capable of double the bandwidth compared to PCIe 3, and USB Type-C support for monitors and head-mounted displays. Other features include:

  • Accelerated CPU/GPU multitasking – allows users to continue modeling on the foreground while rendering a visualization in the background
  • AMD Remove Workstation support through AMD Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise
  • Wireless Professional VR support through AMD Radeon ReLive for VR
  • Professional Application Certification including applications found here.
