AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU w/ AMD 3D V-Cache tech now official

AMD has announced the new Ryzen 7 5800X3D desktop processor with AMD 3D V-Cache technology.

The Ryzen 7 5800X3D is identified as an upgrade to the AMD Ryzen 5000 Series desktop processors, delivering the first AMD Ryzen processors with AMD 3D V-Cache technology to power gaming experiences. Moreover, powered by the “Zen 3” core architecture, this new desktop processor delivers an average of 5% faster 1080p gaming across select titles than the competition, AMD claims.

“AMD is at the forefront of innovation in the PC industry, delivering unmatched experiences for creators, professionals and gamers,” said Saeid Moshkelani, senior vice president and general manager, Client business unit, AMD.

It will be available for Socket AM4 later in Spring 2022.
