AMD has announced the global availability of their Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX and 2920X processors after announcing their prices a few months back.
The Threadripper 2970WX comes with 24 cores and 48 threads, a 4.2/3.0 boost/base frequency (GHz), 250W TDP, and 64 PCIe Gen 3.0 Lanes while the 2920X features 12 cores and 24 threads, a 4.3/3.5 boost/base frequency (GHz), 180W TDP, and the same number PCIe Gen 3.0 lanes.
