In terms of app performance, Android 15 introduces upgrades to the Android Dynamic Performance Framework (ADPF), including a new power-efficiency mode for supported devices.

Google is expected to unveil more updates with the next scheduled developer previews and betas, hinting at a promising yet gradual evolution from Android 14.
Despite the excitement surrounding the release of Developer Preview 1, it’s crucial to exercise caution. As the name implies, developer previews are primarily intended for developers and may contain significant bugs.
Unless you’re actively involved in app development and require compatibility testing with Android 15, it’s advisable to wait for the final release later this year or participate in the public beta program expected to launch around April or May.
For those daring enough to venture into the world of Android 15, the developer preview is compatible with select Google Pixel devices, including the Pixel 6, Pixel 7, Pixel 8 series, Pixel Fold, and Pixel Tablet.
