AnTuTu has released its data on the top 10 best performing android phones in their benchmarking app for March 2019.
Coming in the number 1 spot is the Xiaomi Mi 9 (371,423) which sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM. Next up is the Samsung Galaxy S10 (358,845) which features the same chipset but has a less score due to its less aggressive CPU scheduling. This enables running of eight CPU cores at a full load for a longer amount of time but the drawback is that it consumes more power.
The third spot goes to VIVO’s latest flagship device called the iQOO Monster (356,004) which comes with the Snapdragon 855 chipset and 12GB of RAM. Unlike with the Mi 9, this device conserves more power by saving more on CPU scheduling which lessened its overall score.
AnTuTu’s scoring is based on the following Statistical rules:
- Score: all the scores are averaged, not the highest score per model (actual running results may fluctuate, which is a normal phenomenon).
- Period of data collection: March 1, 2019, to March 31, 2019.
- Data amount: at least 1000 units per model.
- Data source: Antutu Benchmark V7
