After rejecting the idea originally back in June, Apple has now approved of the first PC emulator for iOS.
Apple recently approved of UTM SE which is a PC emulator for iOS. The virtual machine is capable of running classic games and software. There is support for VGA mode for graphics and terminal mode for text-only operating systems.
No operating systems come with the app, but there are guides on UTM SE’s official website for Windows operating systems and pre-built virtual Linux machines.
The UTM SE is available in the Apple App Store for users to try themselves. It is free to download.
