The Apple Cash new feature is on our iPhone thanks to the new iOS 15.5 update which lets users send and request money through the Wallet app, a bit similar to one of the features of Gcash.
Apple cash is basically a digital card that is inside your Wallet app. The Apple Cash can be used in buying goods in a store, or online, and through apps with Apple Pay. To check your balance, you can either check through your Wallet app or in Settings > Wallet and Apple Pay. As an adult, a user can also create an Apple Cash for their family members under 18yrs old so the user can send them money safely so they can spend using their own Apple Cash card.
Just to distinguish Apple Cash from Apple Pay, Apple cash is a digital card in a user’s Wallet app that lets the users send and receive money through Messages or Wallet. The Apple Cash card can be spent in stores, online, and on other apps.
Apple Pay uses Near Field Communication (NFC) technology between a device and where the payment should go. Apple Pay is a technology for users to pay contactless or without using a physical card. You can check out more about Apple Pay here 37.
