Apple has recently unveiled the Time to Walk feature, a new audio walking experience on the Apple Watch for its Fitness+ subscribers.
The newest feature was created to encourage users to walk more often. Each original Time to Walk episode invites users to engage themselves in a walk, featuring influential people who share inspiring stories, photos, and music. Time to Walk can be accessed with Apple Watch and AirPods or other Bluetooth headphones.
Furthermore, Time to Walk’s new episodes will appear in the Workout app on Apple Watch with different guests every Monday through the end of April. Moreover, users may browse previous Time to Walk episodes whenever they like to. Time to Walk episodes will be automatically downloaded to Apple Watch with a Fitness+ subscription, and users can start an episode directly from the Workout app.
Once a Time to Walk episode is selected on Apple Watch, a Walk workout automatically starts. Users may also go along while listening with AirPods or paired Bluetooth headphones. New episodes run from 25 to 40 minutes will appear automatically in the Workout app on Apple Watch. Users may also browse episodes in the Fitness+ tab in the Fitness app on iPhone devices.
However, for Apple Watch customers who use a wheelchair, Time to Walk becomes Time to Push, and it automatically starts an Outdoor Wheelchair Walk Pace workout.
Apple Fitness+ is available in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK, and the US. The three-month subscription of Apple Fitness+ is included for customers who purchase Apple Watch Series 3 or later, and one month of Fitness+ is included for existing Apple Watch users. Fitness+ is available as a subscription service for USD 9.99 per month or USD 79.99 per year.
