Apple iOS 12 update available ahead of launch

iOS 12 will be launching later tonight but the update is now available for download on one of our iPhones earlier than expected.

Our iPhone device, which is part of Apple’s beta testing program, received the update just recently. The patch notes include the following:

  • New features in Photos
  • Memoji – a more customizable animoji
  • Screen Time feature
  • New Siri shortcuts
  • Creation of shared AR experiences
  • New privacy features

Author’s Note: This is now the official iOS 12 update and not the beta one.
